time flies

I don't know what kind of mad scientist in his basement, smelling of chorizo and moldy armpits, created 'time flies.'
But LA this summer seems to be the primary breeding ground.


I had this blog post open for June 25, and yet here I am July 9. Harry Potter 7 Part 2 (the official end of my childhood) is next week for crying out loud. I better not have this kind of time- management skills during the new academic year aka 17 days until move-in (excluding weekends)...but hey, who's counting?


Summer has always been like looking at your car side mirrors with the label "Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear, then you suddenly realize you are driving 5 mph. But this summer feels like wearing those mirrors as eye glasses.


While on the topic of cars... here is my Cars 2 Makeup Tutorial I made for my little brother's 17th birthday.

Final look

Rather than just purchasing a peachy orange blush, I like how using multiple colors adds a little bit more  OOMPH! It also adds to the traffic light theme...which was totally intended...right.

Yes, this is my first look that I filmed, but didn't really film because I forgot to press record. But hey, lesson definitely learned!

Note: Remember to follow through with an eyeliner or else your falsies will look false, which I did not do here (as you can see, the bottom lashes end midway and could be easily avoided by lining your lower lash line).

Hopefully this tutorial didn't suck as hard as the movie did...casually.
