I always say that nails are my weakness. I simply do not have the patience to be bothered with them most of the time...and the rest of the time, I am biting my nails to my dermal layer. These lazy summer days seems to have redefined my stance on nail art.
Nail Art > Makeup
Makeup = Getting out of bed + Taking a picture of my face = FUCK THAT
You must understand. I let things go a wee bit, especially in the "physical/do I even look human/how are you ever going to get some" department. Note: How I am starting to use "+,=,>, 8==D" in place of words.
This particular look was inspired by an afternoon musing: Why do we use our fingers for quotation marks? They look like fingers. Not " " ". (You see what I did there? CLEVER CLEVER.)
It's simple and applicable to "real world situations."
Step 1:
Paint white base color.
"Virgin", Urban Outfitter Nail Polish (2 for $8)
Step 2:
Paint black dot on upper nail area of index and middle finger on each hand.
Hint: It helps to slightly slant downward for right hand. Slant upwards for left hand.
Black Ink Art brush, Art Deco
Step 3:
Make a comma connecting or slightly off to the right of the black dot. Fill in and shape as desired.
Step 4:
Make sure to correctly place the appropriate symbol on each hand.
Left: When looking at hands palm down, it should look like a 6.
Right: When looking at hands palm down, it should look like a 9.
